This article firstly analyzed the defects of the traditional digital campus construction in manageability,maintainability,sharability,availability,etc.,and put forward anassumption of cloud platform concept on constructing the digital campus.The related technologies of cloud platform included: Server Resources Virtualization Technology,Storage Resources Sharing Technology,Network Devices Virtualization Technology,Uniform Identity Authentication Technology,Virtual Private Networks Technology.Through theprofound understanding of the principle of the related technology,this article laid a solid foundation on designing and implementing of the follow-up plan.Then,this article analyzed a school's problems of low utilization rate of resources,poor reliability and scalability,difficulty in management and maintenance in digital campus which was built in a traditional way,and found out the root of the problems.Aimed at the problem of low utilization rate of resources,it is proposed to build a resource pool based on Cloud Computing Virtualization Technology to improve resource utilization.Aimed at the problem of poor reliability and scalability,it is proposed to effectively integrate Cloud Computing Virtualization Technology,Zero Storage Technology,IRF Technology to improve the reliability and scalability of digital campus resource platform.Aimed at the problem of difficulty in management and maintenance in digital campus,it is proposed to combine Cloud Computing Technology with PORTAL Technology and Uniform Identity Authentication of each business system user,to facilitate management and maintenanceof digital campus,at the same time improving the securit y of the system.Finally,this article carried out a comparative analysis on two types of d igital campus construction.The results illustrated that:(1)Server Virtualization Technology of the cloud platform could save construction cost,and improve resource utilization;(2)Zero Storage Mode of the cloud platform could improve reliability and availability of the data;(3)Network Device Virtualization Technology and Uniform Identity Authentication Technology of cloud platform made theadministration more convenient,and ensured integrity and consistency of the data;(4)Campus Private Network,which was founded by Virtual Private Network,made the visitmore convenient and flexible,and not restricted by the time and place,when teachers and students access to superior private digital resource.The results of the above analysis showed that the digital campus which was founded by cloud platform way,is better than the traditional way to build the digital campus in terms of availability,reliability,manageability,maintainability,etc.
