Research And Implementation Of The System Of Based On Extensible Architecture Network State Analysis And Policy-based Network Management

One of the most far-reaching changes occurring in 21st century is the computer and Internet technology revolution.With the development of network technology,the complexity of the network structure and the expansion of the network applications,the traditional network management technology is facing tremendous and unprecedented challenges.new technologies have been put forward to catch up with the new demands,such as Mobile Agent Based Network Management[1-2],Distributed Network Management[3-4],Web-Based Network Management[5-6]Policy-Based Network Management(PBNM)[7-8].Among them PBNM was viewed as the most promising solution.In this thesis PBNM was reviewed in detail.The developing trends and problems in PBNM research was also systematically analyzed.A realizable architecture of PBNM was proposed in this paper.It is composed of Policy Management Server and Policy Management Agent.The function of PMS includes network state information collection,analysis and presentation,policy management and issued.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:(1)Policy-Based Network Management is studied in depth.A realizable architecture of PBNM was proposed.(2)Policy Management Server was designed based on this architecture.It is composed of four operating independently sub-modules:data management server,application management server,address resolution server,and web server.(3)A set of hot standby is designed and implemented.(4)The visual management is realized through JSP technology.
