In certain applications,such as networking highways,rivers,lakes,pipelines,border coastal monitoring,the sparsely populated terrain,which are of lack of public communication and power supply and other infrastructure in some degree,besides re-laying infrastructure will be faced with high costs and low efficiency problem.So the research is of great theoretical and practical significance.This disseration is written on the research background of Project "Large-scale Networking Application System Development and Demonstration Verification".The main work of this dissertation is the design and implementation communication protocols of the wireless image sensing system,specifically contents are summarized below.Firstly,study the consist of wireless image sensing system,mainly including wireless network contollerand wireless image sensor,and its hardware components and software environment.This system is designed according to the absence of the application requirements for public infrastructure such as communications and power supply situation,where needs to be monitored and image transmission.The main function of the wireless network contoller is receiving control commands video surveillance platform,then inform wireless image sensor performs collection,transmission and other commands by wireless network.The main function of the wireless network contoller is controlled by wireless network transmission channel for each wireless image sensor related operations,such as image acquisition,configuration parameters,etc.,wireless network contoller connected with integrated management platform by ethernet port.Secondly,the study and design main communication protocol of this system the system requirements.Due to the overall design principle of the system must meet the low power requirements,so the design of wireless communication protocols between wireless network contoller and wireless image sensor must abserve this rule,adding the sleep-wake mechanism,namely,when not in data transmission the system is in a sleep state,when the need for data transmission by external wake,through this kind of mechanism to reduce system power output.In order to slave the sudden demand for large data transfers,in this dissertation,adding ARQ mechanisms,CRC checksum to the system network communication protocol.Finally,in this dissertation,design and implementation of a wireless image sensing system.Accroding to the function of the system to conduct a comprehensive functional testing,including weak-signal test,interference test,test network latency,packet loss test,camera test interval,wireless image sensor without power supply test,wireless network contoller offline testing and system performance analysis.The test results show that the research and optimization of the underlying communication protocol made in this dissertation effectively reduce system power consumption to meet the sudden large output and data transmission requirements and have great value.
