Design And Implementation Of Journal Management System Of The Library Based On WCF

The library in the college is the essential component in the science construction.The rich literature information resource ensures the personal training,science research and construction in the college.Periodical is a form to transfer the intelligence and exchange the academic thoughts.It is also an important part in the construction of information resource in college library.Therefore,information construction and digitization of periodical management is the important sign of library modernization.This essay deals with information construction of periodical management system of the library,designs and brings about the automatic management and it also develops the level of periodical management.The essay mainly deals with the following parts.Firstly,this essay analyses the present situation and characteristics of periodical management system in the college by analyzing the development and present situation of periodical management.Furthermore,the essay analyses the actual facts of this system.We are now using ILAS ? which contains periodical management system.But we are still in the primary stage as to the management and the usage of periodical management system.It can hardly satisfy the personalized needs and factual situation in the periodical management in our library.In order to make a practicable periodical management system,it analyses the necessity of this system by analyzing the necessity economically.It confirms several essential parts by investigation and survey in the analysis of needs.It contains these:periodical order,registration,back issue management,periodical assessment,user management and so on.Considering the actual technical needs,it confirms the solution based on WCF to promote the extendibility of the system and adapts to the changeable present periodical development situation.Secondly,this essay gives the principals of designing this system and the overall diagram at the system design level.Aiming at every part,it gives the detailed flow-process diagram based on the analysis of needs.Meanwhile it designs a needed database according to the system analysis.It contains the database of periodical order,back issue level and management.It also gives specific workflow diagram and detailed diagram design.At the realization level,it realizes different parts according to the characteristics of WCF and the designing results.It also gives corresponding realization according to periodical assessment.At last,this essay gives an integrated test to assess the function of the system.It designs the assessment scheme,gives the assessment plan and links.Then,based on the characteristics,it assesses the interface,function and safety of this system.According to the result,this system can satisfy the needs of the design.Meanwhile,it provides the corresponding assessment cases as to different parts.It makes it clear that this system conduction can wholly satisfy the expectation.
