The Design And Research Of A Real-time Quality Evaluation System For Technical Colleges

It's an essential requirement for all colleges to enhance teaching awareness while stressing the teaching quality;empathize the evaluation of process while implementing effective evaluation.Teaching quality,which plays an important role in colleges' daily affairs,constitutes the lifeline for colleges.And it directly influences the learning quality of students.Therefore,it will allow teachers to pay more attention to students and further facilitate the communications and understandings between them.It will also improve their teaching capacity,modify the teaching methods and update their teaching ideas so that students' needs for better teaching process can be satisfactorily met if we implement a real-time evaluation aimed at colleges.In the meantime,college administers may further improve teaching management and gain a better understanding of the operation of teaching process through students' feedback.During the course of our real-time investigation,we found that there are still a large number of colleges continuing to implement their teaching quality evaluation in original ways such as giving out questionnaires or asking students to fill the well-designed forms which provide a series of choices.Despite the fact that many colleges did develop online system to evaluate the teaching quality,it is by no means easy to make real-time evaluation a reality.Given the expanding college enrollment and the great pressure teachers have to take and the fact that students' opinions will exert direct impact on the adjustment in teachers' salaries and job distribution,it is therefore wise and essential to popularize a real-time online evaluation system among colleges.From what has been mentioned above,we may find how vital it is to design and develop a real-time evaluation system.The implementation of such a real-time evaluation system asks for a thorough and detailed survey on the present teaching quality in technical colleges.The comparison and analysis of the data and sheets collected will reflect the teaching quality in an objective and all-round way,which may also provide information available for both teachers and students.As a result,the computerized management of data statistics and collection should be based on the modern communication technologies as well as modern network technologies.The Rational Unified Process is used as a development tool and UML is used as a description language for analyzing and designing in this paper.The system adopts object-oriented idea on the teaching quality evaluation management of requirements acquisition,requirement analysis and system design.For the user and system charaeteristics,the System implements many function rnodules in the Process of teaching quality evaluation management.All the practice has proved that the adoption of a teaching quality evaluation system in colleges can perfectly satisfy the actual needs for technical colleges.
