The technique of radio direction-finding is an important topic and plays an important role in radio supervision.In the development process of recent century,especially in the last decade,the theory and techniques have been improved greatly.The techniques have been used extensively in national defense,public security,navigation,spaceflight,astronomy,science research and so on.Especially in the field of radio communications for military reconnaissance,it has become an irreplaceable important technical means.In the dissertation,accuracy of radio direction-finding is the main thesis to be expounded.Firstly,we introduced the fundamental and the equipment-category of radio direction-finding,compared the characteristics of the major systems.Followed by discussion of the main technical specifications such as accuracy,sensitivity which evaluation finding equipment,as well as how to improve it.Errors are inevitable in the finding process,it can be basically divided into native error,venues error,radio wave propagation errors,subjective error and all of those errors are the factors that can make direction-finding fail.So we must analyze the reasons causing errors and study methods to reduce errors because it has a very important significance.The on-the-spot experiment in station No.3 have been implemented.In the preparation of experiment,we introduced the operational principle of Wullenweber direction measurement system and developed the programs of gathering data.By using the method of spatial spectrum estimation,the Wullenweber antenna-array was modified.Based on the primary modification of average,a lot of data was analyzed and computed by methods of curve analysis and mathematical statistics.Then,correction direction-finding equipment according to the analyzing results and makes the errors significantly decreased.In four applications of competitive training,the application results are in accordance with testing ones.Two error processing methods can make the average errors and maximum errors reduced by 80%and improve the accuracy of more than 50%.Comparison of the two methods,we can conclude that the statistic method is more powerful,but needs massive data and is time consuming.however,the curve analysis method has more advantage for saving time and victory in the urgent war.All of the testing data in the dissertation come from the real workplace.
