Design And Development Of A Portable And Fast-Disassembling Vehicle Radio Direction Finding Antennaarray

As an important strategic resource of a country, the reasonable distribution and management of radio spectrum resources are crucial.Radio monitoring direction-finding vehicle uses the motor-driven manner for radio monitoring direction-finding, and it is also an indispensable part of radio monitoring direction-finding. As a mobile method, radio monitoring direction-finding vehicle can make up the disadvantages of the fixed direction-finding station in aspects of coverage, and it can also make a close-to-monitoring of the transmitting signal and an accurate positioning of the transmitting root. This paper aims designing the core equipment of the radio monitoring direction-finding vehicle, thus the on-board radio monitoring direction-finding antenna array.Being composed of dozens of antenna units, The on-board radio monitoring direction-finding antenna array plays a role of sensor, which takes sampling of the electric field of the observed space, and those samplings contain the direction information of the wave. Currently, the on-board radio monitoring direction-finding often takes a one-piece structure, which causes the problems of being too big, heavy,hard-disassembling, and influencing the security of the vehicle etc..Therefore,we decide to design a smart, portable, easy-disassembling,security-harmfulless direction-finding antenna array, that is a portable fast-disassembling on-board radio monitoring direction-finding antenna array.The portable fast-disassembling on-board monitoring direction-finding antenna array adoptes the modular design idea, with full consideration of the reliability, and the convenience of maintainemce.It divides the entire antenna array into three function modules: high-end direction-finding antenna array, radio-frequency processing module, and low-end antenna unit module. The characteristics of it are that: the low-end antenna unit module has two layers, with one horizontal and one vertical, which is installed in radio-frequency processing module in a fastinsert-dial manner. The antenna unit appears round, and equal-ray in form. The connection of the mechanic and electric among the modules is realized by the manner of fast insert-dial, without any other wires or assistant devices.The portable fast-disassembling on-board radio monitoring direction-finding antenna array solves well the disadvantages of the current radio-monitoring direction-finding industry’s one-piece on-board direction finding antenna array, and creates a portable and moveable direction-finding antenna array. After being promoted into market, it gains high comments of the clients, and it not only obtains good remarks in domestic radio management industry and confidential industry, but also manages to export to foreign countries, like Ethiopia, Burma and other countries.
