Media Changes And Rumor Governance

In all historical stage of human civilization, for the instruction of public opinion, rumors governance has been a key element. Therefore, it would be critically important to conduct a research on the governance of the rumors.Based on this, this paper is concentrating on studying the relationship between media changes and the mode of rumors governance. Starting from the angle of media evolution, this paper makes the historical change of media evolution as a clue, analysis of the information dissemination and the management of rumors of three different periods, the lack of media stages, traditional media stages and new media stages. Then, we will use rumor cases in these three different stages, to highlight the status the difference between media creator and media controller in such three periods, for persons, to analysis the impact of rumors in the information, behavior and the spirit on them. Finally, summarizing the experience of media management, this paper will propose a new countermeasures of media management.Today, media environment are undergoing a significant changes, the evolution of notion would be essential when reacting to rumors. We need convert the technique-oriented principle to eco-centrism, to treat the rumor as an important part of the media system, pursuit of preventing the rumor in good-governance. After this, the whole society, include us, to build a "media ecosystem", the backbone of system would be counter-rumor center, social systems be limb and the public's media literacy be foundation, properly dispose the relationship between people and the media, as well as new-and old-media, henceforth, to provide an innovation model of governance rumors in a feasible way in this period.
