With the "wireless city" is being put forward and the maturity and development of network technology,WiFi wireless communication technology has been become the mainstream of future wireless access standards.In order to meet the needs of users to achieve access to the Internet at anytime and anywhere,the portable electronic terminals with the function of WiFi has become a development trend.The scheme of researching WiFi wireless terminal system based on ARM is put forward in this paper,and realize the function of wireless network configuration and intelligent power management based on Qt graphical interface development.The development of wireless terminal system based on S3C6410 processor and Linux operating system is realized in the subject.The mainly design of hardware and software is completed.The wireless WiFi module,LCD touch screen module,power module,serial port and USB interface module is mainly included in the hardware design.Two aspects of system software and application software are designed in the part of software design.The system software mainly includes,the development environment of the embedded Linux system,the cutting and transplantation of Linux kernel,the design and transplantation of various modules of the driver.Then design the application software,though build the construction of Qt/embedded graphical interface development environment,and complete the client program development of WiFi network configuration and intelligent power management.The external program is called by the interface program through the communication mechanism between different processes of Qt/E.And complete the wireless network configuration and handover fast in the multiple AP hot spot area of WiFi.The communication between interface program and Linux driver through the interface function,it is based on the C/S mode,to achieve power management and reduce system power consumption.And by transplanting embedded browser,allowing users to browse the web.Though testing,the software and hardware of system is well stable.In the hot area of WiFi with multiple AP,the wireless terminal can quickly switch to different internet,and improved communication efficiency.The users can easily operate through theman-machine interactive client program,and browse the web through the browser.While the whole power consumption has been effectively reduced under the intelligent power management.
