More and more users use their mobile phones to access the Internet in modern life. The convenience of mobile phones provides users with the possibilities to access the Internet at anytime and anywhere.Internet Service Providers(ISPs)such as Telecom and China mobile provide users with many ways to get online using mobile base stations such as 2G/3G,WLAN and so on.The records of users' Internet access will remain in the base stations for some time when users use these mobile base stations.Internet Service Providers could not make use of these records due to technical reasons in the past,or they could only use them to provide suggestions macrosoopIcally.Data takes more and more important roles in the modern information age and the problem of how to use this information arises to the ISPs.This thesis describes howto get useful information from Calling Detail Records(CDR)theoretically and practically. This information includes not only the theme of the websites visited by users, but also the flow amounts of mobile base stations.Geographical positions,on which analysis of point of interests are based, will aggregates information which have close positions. In the promise that ISPs not invading privacies of users,ISPs will get information they want. The design of Point of Interests analyzing system is divided into three parts:the backend database layer, the middle layer and the front-end Ul layer. The back end database layer calculates and extracts useful information and provides query interfaces to middle end layer. The middle layer provides data to the front end UI layer with Web Services using Java to query from database. The front end UI layer is based on open source map OpenStreetMap to present data directly.
