As an important part of Chinese teaching in senior high school,reading teaching is an important way for teachers to improve students' core competencies and complete the task group.It has always attracted the attention of Chinese teachers and education researchers.In the teaching of reading,we can not only cultivate students' reading ability and core competencies,but also infiltrate students' moral education.This paper studies and thinks about how to improve the teaching effect of Chinese reading in senior high school from four aspects as follows:The first part discusses the research background and meaning of this paper,combing and summarizing the relevant literature from domestic and abroad,and exposes the research methods and ideas of this paper.The second part explains the concept of "Reading","Senior Chinese Reading","Senior Chinese Reading Teaching","Senior Chinese Reading Teaching Effect",and discusses the theoretical basis for improving the reading teaching effect,which creates a certain foundation for further research on reading teaching.The third part investigates the current situation of the teaching effect of Chinese reading in senior high school,and analyzes the problems and reasons of reading teaching according to the survey results.The main problems of teachers are: the lack of reading teaching competencies and reading teaching ability.The reasons for teachers' problems are: the teaching of reading is not closely related to real life,the relevant concepts of the new curriculum standard are not well applied to teaching,and the ignorance of students' dominant position.The main problems of students are: Students' interest in study is not strong and do not form good habits.The reasons for the students' problems are: severe utilitarian reading thoughts and weak students' self-directed learning ability.In the fourth part,according to the problems existing in the third part of the reading teaching,the corresponding solutions to improve the teaching effect of Chinese reading in senior high school are as follows: improving teachers' reading teaching competencies,improving teachers' reading teaching ability,paying attention to the improvement of students' Chinese core competencies,and strengthening teacher-student interaction and the guidance of reading methods.This part is also the top priority of the paper.
