The balanced development of compulsory education in urban and rural areas is an objective requirement for implementing the scientific development concept and narrowing the gap between urban and rural public goods supply.Compulsory education is a pure public product with a strong externality.There are nearly 180 million students in China's compulsory education stage,whose implementation degree,equity status and education quality are related to the guarantee of basic human rights and the realization of educational equity.However,for a long time,the gap between urban and rural compulsory education in China is obvious,which aggravates the imbalance of the development of urban and rural compulsory education and impedes the realization of the goal of compulsory education.For further research on junior middle school education gap between urban and rural areas,analyses the specific reasons for the gap,and proposes the corresponding countermeasure,this paper,taking a backward counties of the central region both by the middle of the urban and rural junior high school,for example,using literature method,questionnaire survey method and interview method,from the inside of the school teachers and the students themselves to design questionnaire,combining quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis two aspects to our research questions are analyzed,and finally from the perspective of quantitative analysis it is concluded that parents can not improve student performance,it must be through the intermediary factors of students' learning seriously and efficiency and grades to the student work;A reversal of this paper is that rural middle school students' performance is better than that of urban students.From the perspective of qualitative analysis,it is concluded that the school's strategic focus and the school's school style play a decisive role in the students' performance difference.Of course,the results brought by the limitation of sample selection in this paper will make the generalization validity of the study limited to some extent.
