Music education is an important part of basic education in China and an indispensable part of students' all-round development.Music education can inspire primary and secondary school students to perceive the beauty of music,and then appreciate the beauty of music.It is of great significance to promote the physical and mental health of primary and secondary school students and the cultivation of creativity.Looking at the current situation of music education in Shenyang,great progress has been made in the early 21 st century,but the imbalance between urban and rural music education has not been improved.According to the survey,although music is included in the curriculum of primary and secondary education system in rural areas of Shenyang,it is often neglected and ignored by parents and schools because it is not within the scope of entrance examination,which makes music educators have more willingness and less ability.At the same time,some schools are often disadvantaged in allocating related teaching equipment resources.In the past few months,I have deeply felt the shortage of educational resources in rural areas,the weakness of students family environment and the decline of students' learning achievements.Therefore,music education in rural areas of Shenyang still needs to be improved.It is hoped that this study will enable the relevant departments of the Bureau of Education,schools and parents to understand the current situation of music education in primary and secondary schools in Shenyang,understand the differences between urban and rural music education in primary and secondary schools in Shenyang,and explore the relevant influencing factors,and put forward specific strategies for improvement.At the same time,I hope to pay attention to the problems existing in music teaching in primary and secondary schools and improve the resources of music education in schools,so as to improve the quality and influence of music education in primary and secondary schools and the overall environment of music education in the future,as an important reference for the development of music education in the future.Based on the above reasons,this study takes primary and secondary school students in urban and rural areas of Shenyang as the research object.According to the actual situation,primary and secondary schools in Shenyang are divided into urban and rural areas.Three provincial excellent demonstration schools approved by the Ministry of Education of Shenyang were selected and four schools in Xinmin Township and Township Areas approved by the Ministry of Education were investigated on the spot.The proportion of the total number of schools in the two places was close to 1:1.Because of the limited research capacity,primary and secondary schools in other cities and towns are not included in the scope of this study.In this paper,583 primary and secondary school students in urban and rural areas of Shenyang were selected as the subjects for the comparative study of music education in urban and rural primary and secondary schools in Shenyang.This paper will be divided into the following four parts.The first part mainly summarizes the basic situation of music education in urban and rural primary and secondary schools in Shenyang at the beginning of the 21 st century.Firstly,it gives a basic overview of the situation in Shenyang and Xinmin areas respectively.Secondly,it elaborates the relevant terms in the paper.The second part is the investigation and analysis of the present situation of music education in urban and rural primary and secondary schools in Shenyang.This part mainly explores the background and purpose of the investigation,objects and methods,data related statistics and analysis,and comparative analysis of the survey status quo.The third part is to further study the specific problems existing in music education between urban and rural primary and secondary schools in Shenyang.The fourth part will put forward concrete and feasible improvement strategies for the development of music education in urban and rural primary and secondary schools in Shenyang,and finally draw a conclusion by combining the four parts.
