Aggressive behavior,as an externalized problem behavior,is common in adolescence.Serious attacks not only harm others and the society, but also have a negative impact on the attackers themselves, which has been widely concerned by all sectors of society. For junior middle school students, the family is still the main place for their activities. For every family,it is inevitable to encounter parental conflict situations, and frequent and destructive parental conflicts are one of the external factors that affect children's aggressive behavior, the higher the level of parental conflict perceived by the child, the more prone to aggressive behavior.According to the theory of emotional security, the emotional insecurity of children caused by parental conflict is closely related to their internalized psychological problems and problematic behaviors.According to the general aggression model, external situational factors and individual internal emotional characteristics work together to influence the occurrence of individual aggression. Therefore, based on the theoretical framework of emotional security theory and general attack model, this paper attempts to explore the mediating role of emotional insecurity between junior middle school students' perceived inter-parental conflict and aggressive behavior. In this study,487 junior middle school students at four schools were investigated by questionnaire, using children's perception of inter-parental conflict scale(CPIC),Buss-Perry Aggression Questionnaire(BWAQ),Security in the Inter-parental Subsystem Scale(SIS)Scale. The results show that:(1)Junior middle school students have a higher overall level of aggressive behavior. There were significant differences in junior middle school students' aggressive behaviors in the variables of gender,age,grade,one-child status, father's education level and monthly family income.(2)The perception of inter-parental conflict by junior middle school students was at the medium level. There are significant differences in gender, grade and father's educational level in middle school students' perception of inter-parental conflict.(3)Junior middle school students have a higher overall level of emotional insecurity. The junior middle school students 'emotional insecurity scores have significant differences in whether they have only one children, grades, and parents' education level.(4)There was a significant positive correlation between perception of inter-parental conflict and aggressive behavior of junior middle school students. There was a significant positive correlation between perception of inter-parental conflict and emotional insecurity. There was a significant positive correlation between emotional insecurity and junior middle school students' aggressive behavior.(5)Emotional insecurity plays a partial mediating role between perceived inter-parental conflict and junior middle school students' aggressive behavior.
