Argumentative writing is a style in which students come into contact with high school more often.To write an excellent argumentative writing in a short time,students need to master and proficiently use a variety of argumentation methods.In argumentative writings,some students have problems when using argumentation methods.At present,there are many studies on argumentative writing,most of which are on the problems,teaching methods and teaching strategies.There are not many researches on the issue of argumentative writing starting from the argumentation method.Exploring the use of argumentation methods,summing up the problems that arise in students 'writings,and proposing some solutions to them in a targeted manner may provide some help for the teaching of argumentative writing.The paper examines in detail 440 argumentative writings of ordinary high school students in Shanghai Minxing High School,finds the problem first,then analyzes the reason,and finally puts forward the strategy.The whole paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter explores the classification of argumentation methods.It mainly introduces the different classifications of argumentation methods in textbooks and academic circles.On this basis,combined with the basic situation of Chinese teaching in middle schools,it summarizes the 8 argumentation methods that students will use in their work as the basis of this article.The second chapter is data analysis,analyzing the inherent rules and existing problems through the argumentation methods in the statistical sample exercises;at the same time,the questionnaire survey is conducted on the students,and the current writing status of the argumentative writing,the mastery of the argumentation methods and the argumentation method teaching.The third chapter is to analyze the problems and reasons of the use of the argumentation method.First,it will investigate the collected 440 argumentative writings,explore the problems that students have when using the eight argumentation methods,and summarize these problems as misuse of argumentation method,insufficient effective analysis and three types of internal logic are unclear.Then analyze the causes of the problems from the perspectives of students and teachers,in order to enhance students 'and teachers' understanding of the use of argumentation methods.The fourth chapter is the problem-solving strategy for the use of the argumentation method.According to the problems and reasons for the students' use of the argumentation method,the solution strategies to enrich students' relevant knowledge reserves and develop students' thinking quality are proposed.
