Toulmin's argumentation model covers a certain philosophical basis,intellectual background and theoretical intention.It is a scientific argumentation model,which focuses on the development of rational thinking,the actual argumentation existing in daily life,and the source and process of knowledge.The writing of high school argumentative thesis focuses on the development of students' rational thinking and the expression of the life perception gained from daily life and study with the ability of rich logical thinking.In this point,it is very consistent with Toulmin's argumentation model.But at present,the argumentative writing of high school students often appears unclear arguments,insufficient evidence,unreasonable argumentation and other problems,the emergence of these problems on the one hand,it means that there are problems in the teaching of argumentative writing of high school students,on the other hand,it also means that high school students have low critical thinking ability.In view of the current situation of Toulmin's argumentation model in the teaching of high school argumentation writing.This paper designed the corresponding questionnaire survey,and through the method of literature research and interview,understood the writing situation of high school argumentation and the application of Toulmin's argumentation model in the teaching of high school argumentation writing.According to the problems existing in the questionnaire,combined with the requirements of high school Chinese curriculum standards,experimental high school Chinese textbooks for high school argumentative writing and the requirements of Toulmin's argumentation model,the corresponding strategies are put forward from the following aspects: teachers explain the model and master the essence of argumentation;according to the demonstration model,analyze the paper elements;use mind map to clarify the argumentation process;activate multidirectional thinking and make full reasoning;make a reasonable conclusion based on the evidence.It is expected to improve the writing ability of argumentative thesis of senior high school students,promote the development of senior high school students' critical thinking ability,and implement the requirements of the core quality of Chinese subject.
