With the country urbanization process deepening and the pace of people's life speeding up,more and more migrant workers move their families from the countryside to the cities.Therefore,the number of migrant children who follow their parents to the cities is also increasing.However,with a lot of work to do,parents are not have enough time to accompany their children,causing the lack of interaction and communication with them.Good parent-child communication can not only help children understand the problems encountered and solve them properly,but also can make children become more lively and optimistic.On the contrary,bad parent-child communication will affect children's physical and behavior easily.Therefore,it is not conductive to children's growth and development.Combined with the actual situation of the author's internship project site.This study takes C community R school as the research site.After analyzing the questionnaire,the author has learned about the basic situation of migrant children.Similarly,according to the targeted in-house interview and telephone interview,the author deeply understand that the migrant children's families are limited by the economic difficulties,the low educational level of their parents,the insufficient social support in schools and communities,etc.There are still some problem in parent-child communication,such as lack of initiative,lack empathy,single communication content and less communication time.These problems affect the mental health of migrant children and the harmony of family relations.Based on the problems identified,the author recruits team members,defines team goals,designs programs for team activities,organizes and conducts team activities,and based on the practical experience of team activities,assessed the effectiveness of the group,etc.The practice has proved that group work has obvious effect on the improvement of the parent-child communication of migrant children's families.Under the guidance of Family System Theory and the communication theory of Satir,the author uses group work method to intervene the parent-child communication of migrant children's families.Through six group activities,parents and children have a certain understanding of communication issues and can be aware of their emotional experience.Based on learning and practicing communication skills,they start exploring innovative ways of parent-child communication suited to their own and then try to improve the communication model and strengthen communication skills.Finally,the author sums up and reflects on the shortcoming in the practice process,summarizes theproblems that need to be paid attention to when carrying out such activities to accumulate experience for the group work to intervene the problem of parent-child communication in migrant children's families. |
