Application Research Of Rasch Model In Physical Modeling Ability Evaluation Of High School Students

Physical modeling ability is one of the key ability of core competence in physics,which plays an important role in the physics education in high school.Applying modern test theory to compile an effective measuring tool for senior high school students' ability of physical modeling is of great significance to the teaching practice of physics education,especially to the development of test compilation.This study uses literature research,expert consultation and other methods.It was made up of senior high school students physical modeling ability assessment tools,which combined with the high school students' physics learning process,in the physical modeling ability of theoretical basis and evaluation framework.Then,the quality of the physical modeling ability evaluation tool is preliminarily tested by using the Rasch model analysis software——Winsteps,and the abnormal items that do not meet the purpose of the evaluation are screened out.The evaluation tool is revised and tested again,and finally a high quality evaluation tool is obtained.Finally,the evaluation tool is used to evaluate the physical modeling ability of three classes in the second grade of a senior high school.The results are as follows:(1)Rasch model was used to evaluate the ability of physical modeling from the aspects of overall quality analysis,one-dimensional test,item-subject correspondence analysis,fitness test of a single item,Bubble Diagram and so on.It shows that the overall difficulty of the evaluation tool is moderate,the difficulty distribution of the project is even,and the ability level of the subjects can be better detected.(2)Rasch model can clearly show the overall distribution of students' physical modeling ability relative to the difficulty of the test paper,the measurement value of individual students' ability,and whether the measured ability value is scientific,then,screened out the abnormal subjects which the students' physical modeling ability level can be judged through this.(3)Rasch model can be used as a powerful tool to test and analyze the ability of physical modeling of senior high school students.
