William Gilbert,a famous British physicist,believed that science itself is a process of modeling,and learning science is a process of learning modeling.The establishment,identification and application of Physical Model are the focus of students' learning physics,and ability of Physical Modeling is the core of the focus.Although physics test for the college entrance examination has been changing every year,the physical model doesn't change much,for each question type corresponds to one or several models,including method model and physical model.Redundant points of knowledge seemingly become concise from the model perspective.In order to practice the purpose of the new curriculum reform to cultivate and improve students' scientific literacy,and to make the essence of physics study return to the method of physics,and to significantly improve students' modeling ability,physical thinking ability and meta-cognitive ability of physics learning,it is urgent to find out the general methods and strategies to cultivate students' modeling ability in classroom teaching.The main work of this paper is to explore the teaching method of cultivating high school students' physical modeling ability,as well as to verify the effect of practice through the experiments in order to get the final summary of the cultivation strategy.The research methods of this subject mainly include: literature research,questionnaire survey,practice research,examination paper and grade analysis.The main content includes the following six parts:The first part is the introduction,including the research necessity demonstration,the research status of the practical physical modeling process in the classroom at home and abroad,the physical modeling and the concept definition of the practical physical modeling in the classroom teaching.The second part is the theoretical basis of physical modeling and physical modeling model in class,including the basis of educational psychology,physical model classification and basic thinking method.The third part is the research on the difference between the teaching status of physical modeling and the practical physical modeling process.The conclusion is that most physics teachers and students lack the awareness of physical modeling,and that the teachers avoid practicing the physical modeling process in class due to great difficulty,and that it is difficult for students to carry out physical modeling independently due to the narrow scope of knowledge,and that students cannot realize abstract transformation of sensibility because of weak abstract thinking ability.The fourth part is the optimization of teaching programs proposed in different types of classes,and refining and generalization of the exploration and model of the physical modeling process in law class,exercise class and method class through cases.In the fifth part,the effects of the physical modeling process in practice are evaluated through comparative experiments by means of test paper measurement and abstract investigation.The results showed that the level of physics modeling and the academic performance of the experimental class were obviously higher than the average level of the grade after half year's efforts.The sixth part summarizes the training strategies to improve thephysical modeling ability of middle school students.
