This study takes the Chinese textbook(grade eight)of The national edition(hereinafter referred to as " the eighth-grade textbook")to read plate features and use as the research object,using education literature study,case study method,questionnaire survey method,observation method,comparative analysis,interviews and other research methods,in the "jiangxi nanchang twenty no.26 middle school of the eighth-grade textbook " present situation investigation,on the basis of further analysis of "the eight teaching" reading characteristics,summarizes the erroneous zone in reading teaching and reading teaching Suggestions,help students to improve reading ability and the ability to apply reading strategies.Through data analysis,the author finds that the reading section of " the eighth-grade textbook " emphasizes the cultivation of students' independent reading ability,the establishment of stylistic awareness,and the guidance of students to pay attention to the society.But in the actual teaching,many teachers do not base on the characteristics of " the eighth-grade textbook " to carry on the teaching,thus appeared some mistakes in reading teaching.These errors include: teaching sequence and unit clues are not consistent;The type of reading lesson does not match the main body of learning;There is no correspondence between reading system and teaching method.The student aid system is not integrated with the teaching process." the eighth-grade textbook" has not been officially used for a long time,so it is quite normal for teachers to make mistakes in teaching.If teachers have no awareness of their own mistakes in teaching,then Chinese education is at stake.Reading teaching in grade eight plays a key role in "connecting the past with the future",but both in theory and in teaching practice,there is a lack of understanding or attention to " the eighth-grade textbook ".Reading ability is the basis for students to learn other subjects and is an important ability for students to adapt to social life.For the sustainable development of students' reading ability and the prosperity of education,teachers should learn from each other,discuss with each other,share teaching experience,constantly reflect on teaching and improve the quality of reading teaching.Therefore,this study conforms to the needs of the society and The Times,and has a certain degree of significance.
