Information technology courses belong to comprehensive practice courses,and the courses themselves have strong comprehensiveness and practicality.Since our country has long adopted the teaching model of division of subjects,although it is conducive to students' grasp of knowledge,it will also deepen the barriers between disciplines and limit the reasonable differentiation of information technology disciplines.STEAM education,as a comprehensive education of interdisciplinary integration,integrates its educational philosophy into the information technology discipline,which can not only enrich the connotation of the discipline,but also make up for the deficiencies of the information technology discipline in the sub-discipline teaching mode,so it has attracted widespread attention from scholars in related fields.The teaching of high school information technology courses based on the STEAM education concept breaks the barriers between disciplines and promotes the integration of information technology disciplines with other disciplines,which has important practical significance.Based on the above research background,the author as a rural education master,based on three years of practical work,integrates the STEAM education concept into the high school information technology curriculum,designs and implements teaching,with a view to being able to do something in the high school information technology curriculum teaching Beneficial exploration,further enrich the teaching practice of information technology courses,and provide reference for practitioners in related fields.This article firstly sorts out the connotation,origin,development and current research status of STEAM education through literature reading.The comprehensive analysis of the course objectives,course content,course teaching mode and STEAM teaching mode of the high school information technology course confirms that the information technology course and STEAM education are mutually compatible.Next,the author integrated the STEAM education concept into the high school information technology curriculum,clarified the teaching objectives and design principles,and combined the two to design the teaching process.And selected the "image processing module" in the first-year information technology courses as a teaching case,designed and implemented teaching.After the implementation of the teaching,in order to understand the changes in students' interest in learning,problem solving ability,and interdisciplinary thinking after STEAM teaching,the author also designed a corresponding questionnaire survey.The analysis of the questionnaire results confirmed that STEAM The integration of educational concepts into the teaching of high school information technology courses can not only effectively increase students' interest in learning,but also promote the cultivation of interdisciplinary thinking.
