| In recent years, with the coming of the Winter Olympic Games as well as the activities of "ice and snow sports into the campus" being carried out all over the country, many schools have set upsome courses to encourage students to participate in ice and snow sports. Therefore, more and more students are now preferring to join the ice and snow activities and it is a much more concerned topic of the teaching of skiing for many people.Skiing courses include alpine skiing, snowboarding and so on,among which alpine skiing is the most popular ski event.Basically colleges and universities planning to set up an ice and ski course will choose alpine skiing to carry out their class-room teaching.Although the teaching method is slightly different from other sports,it is also a traditional "teacher-centered" teaching method.Almost every schoolhas no innovation in ski teaching, which prevents students from making progress in skiing skills.Through consulting the relevant literature,it is found that although the heterogeneous group teaching model is more applied in teaching, there is no related research in ski teaching. In order to better improve the students' skiing skills, the heterogeneous group teaching mode is applied to the compulsory course of skiing in Shenyang Sport University to discuss the teaching process and effect by studying the relevant theories of the teaching mode and the characteristics of skiing teaching. Thus accordingly, this paper adopts heterogeneous group teaching mode to conduct an experimental teaching research among the students in snow compulsory class majoring in sports training in Shenyang Sport University.Through the use of literature review method, expert interview method, questionnaire survey method, experimental method, mathematical statistics method, contrastive analysis methodand relying on previous research results, the study makes an analysis on the experimental data and gains the following conclusions.1.The study on the application of the heterogeneous group teaching mode to the skiing course of Shenyang Sport University shows that the students in the experimental class has a more obvious improvement in the techniques(P<0.05).The experimental class is higher than the control class in terms of the overall technical achievement and thenumber of excellent rate.It can be concluded that it is feasible and effective to apply the heterogeneous group teaching mode to the ski classes in sport universities.2.The study shows that the communication in the experimental class is much better and the relationship among group members is more harmonious which is helpful to improve students' self-confidence,team cohesion and learning interest in skiing class and to strengthen the students' communication ability with others.3.Through experimental research,it is proved that the heterogeneous group teaching mode makes full use of the individual differences of students to carry out teaching,in which poor students in the group can learn from the good ones, which not only cultivates the students' teaching ability, but also satisfies the students' psychological characteristics, and finally promotes the students' all-round development.4.Although the heterogeneous group teaching mode is superior to the traditional teaching mode in teaching effect,it does not mean that the heterogeneous group teaching mode can completely replace the traditional teaching mode.It is necessary to combine the two selectively according to the syllabus and the actual situation of the students in order to better serve the ski teaching. |
