Investigation On Global Competence Of Normal University Students And Its Improvement

With the deepening of economic globalization,China's higher education must also actively respond to the call of internationalization and train international talents to participate in global governance.Teachers are the main force in training international talents,while normal university students are the teachers in the future stage of basic education,bearing the responsibility of training talents.Normal global competency as a future teacher's students understanding and processing in the background of globalization of world affairs and issues critical knowledge and ability,mainly including the cognitive world,identify the point of view,communication,take action as well as the education field of vision,and other areas of the content,concrete embodiment of relevant knowledge,skills,attitudes,values,and action such as dimension.The era value of global competence of normal university students includes the cultivation of international talents with global competitiveness,the cultivation of responsible national citizens and global citizens,which is an important part of the development of students' core literacy.This paper takes the normal universities in Jiangxi province as the research object which from the analysis of the students knowledge of global issues,the attitude of the cross-cultural communication ability and the respect for cultural diversity,and take action to its ability to put into practice and understanding of the world education situation and so on the actual investigation.According to the survey,the main problems of Jiangxi normal university students' global competency are as follows: the overall level of Jiangxi normal university students' global competency is not high,which is at a medium level;especially in the dimension of educational vision.,the performance of normal students is even lower than the medium level.The reasons for the low level of global competence of normal university students include: foreign language level,parents' educational background,overseas experience,school education and teaching activities,and teachers' teaching content,etc.On this basis,the author puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from the national level,school level,teacher level and individual level of normal university students,such as: the state increases the policy guarantee,the school should establish the international concept of running a school,the teacher should change theeducational concept,improve their own quality and so on.In order to improve the global competency level of normal university students and provide reference for the future research on global competency.
