"Global competence" is a necessary ability for talents in the 21 st century to participate in global competition.Cultivating talents with "global competence" is also an important condition for a country to better participate in global governance and international competition.In the study of "global competence",the United States is ahead of the world.After the war,the United States began research on "global competence." Although there were some twists and turns,it continued until now.Countries such as Sweden,Norway,Finland,and Canada also later came to the fore,incorporating content related to "global competence" in the education system.In 2018,the OECD published a document on "Global Competence for Inclusive World",which proposed a "Global Competency" framework."Global competence" began to emerge as an important international assessment.In recent years,domestic scholars have also published many articles on "global competence".This shows that "global competence" is getting more and more attention in China.This study takes the cultivation of the "global competence" of seven UK universities as the research object.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background and significance,research methods and research difficulties of the selected topic;the second chapter introduces the origin and development of "global competence" and the international expression of "global competence";Chapter introduces the reform of UK higher education and the development of "global competence";Chapter 4 is a case study of the cultivation of "global competence" in UK universities;Chapter 5 is the development of "global competence" in China;Inspiration.Although the research on the cultivation of "global competence" in UK universities is later than that in the United States and other countries,and there is no special law to guarantee the implementation of the cultivation of "global competence",the performance of UK universities in the cultivation of "global competence" is still acceptable.Remarkable.Therefore,the UK's "global competence" training experience can still provide reference and reference for other countries.
