Research On The Social Work Practice Of Employment Guidance For Liberal Arts Graduates

Social work has developed rapidly in China in recent years,and its professional theories and methods can play a good role in various fields.Many scholars have applied it to the field of educational work to help solve student problems.The employment difficulty of college students has always been a common research topic in various related fields.The social work involved in the employment of college students is also one of the research directions of scholars.However,the practical research on the employment guidance of college students,especially liberal arts graduates,is relatively small.The purpose of this paper is to explore an effective intervention scheme through the practical research of social work involved in the employment guidance of liberal arts graduates in Colleges and universities,to help college students,especially liberal arts graduates,solve the employment dilemma and enrich the practical research of social work.Taking M University as an example,this study uses literature research,questionnaire survey,in-depth interview and other methods to understand the current situation of employment difficulties and employment guidance needs of liberal arts graduates,combined with the discussion of the limitations of the current employment guidance work in Colleges and universities.Designed a case work plan with the theme of employment psychological adjustment and a group work intervention plan with the theme of improving employability.Then,according to the designed schemes,15 liberal arts graduates were recruited to carry out group work on the theme of improving employability,and case work was carried out on one of the students with psychological difficulties in employment,all of which achieved good results.Through investigation,analysis and design verification,this study confirms the feasibility of the social work intervention in the employment guidance of liberal arts graduates,summarizes the intervention advantages of social work in terms of professionalization of work concepts and evaluation systems,diversification of guidance content and objects,and practical dilemmas in terms of professionalism and long-term effectiveness.At the same time,some suggestions on optimizing the intervention work were proposed.
