With the development of China’s economy and higher education,the number of college graduates has increased year by year,and in the face of the severe employment situation,the employment problem of college students has become increasingly prominent.Finding a job is an important process for college students to graduate and enter society,and studies have shown that college students’ assessment of their employability and confidence affects their job search behaviors and job search results.During the internship,the author learned about the basic situation of the employment of L University students,conducted in-depth interviews with teachers and fresh graduates,investigated and analyzed the employment status and problems of college students,and found that fresh graduates had problems such as unclear employment goals,many negative emotions,low enthusiasm for job hunting,and insufficient competitiveness.The author consults the literature and combines the actual situation,takes the Social Learning Theory and the Social Support Theory as the theoretical basis,chooses to use the method of group work,designs and carries out group activities from the perspective of improving the self-efficacy of job search,and helps fresh graduates improve their self-efficacy in job search from four main ways:comprehensive self-awareness,exploration of superior resources,increase of employment skills,and development of support systems,and promotes fresh graduates to actively seek jobs and achieve high-quality and successful employment.After the completion of the six group activities,the results of the group activities were evaluated through three evaluation methods: before and after measurement evaluation,satisfaction evaluation and social worker self-evaluation,and combined the process evaluation carried out by the group activities,it was concluded that the group work had a certain role in enhancing the self-efficacy of fresh graduates in job hunting and promoting the active employment of fresh graduates.This paper uses the group work method to intervene in the employment problem of fresh college graduates from the perspective of improving the self-efficacy of job search,and innovates in the perspective and content of social work methods to intervene in the employment problems of university student,which is the expansion and supplement to the practical field of social work.Based on the research,the author also puts forward his own suggestions,hoping to provide some reference experience for college employment work and school social work.
