Research On Social Work Intervention Of College Graduates’ Employment Difficulties

The employment of college students is the focus of social attention,which is related to the development of each family,school and the whole society.At present,the number of college graduates in China is expanding year by year.The number of graduates in 2020 is expected to reach 8.74 million,an increase of 400,000 from the previous year.Under the severe form of employment,social development also puts forward higher requirements on college students in terms of knowledge,ability,and comprehensive quality.In the face of increasing employment pressure,college students are difficult to grasp based on their own abilities,experience,and information,and various employment problems are prone to occur.Without timely and proper solutions,they will cause some impact in the physical and mental health of college students,as well as personal development.The author uses the experience of close contact with college students,participation in student work and employment guidance during his work as a part-time counselor at Xi’an A University,using literature research methods,participatory observation methods,interview methods and questionnaires to conduct university students After investigating,collecting detailed data and conducting an in-depth analysis,it is believed that the cause of the employment dilemma of university students in A is the disability of the employment dilemma at the individual,interpersonal,and environmental levels: individual employment ability,career planning,and negative emotion regulation Insufficient ability;interpersonal level shows lack of positive interaction between family members and effective interaction among peer groups;lack of effective employment guidance resources and internship opportunities at the environmental level.The goals of social work are similar to the goals of employment guidance in colleges and universities.They are to help students solve difficulties and problems,stimulate their potential,and improve their abilities.At the same time,social work intervenes in the employment dilemma of college students with professional values,theories,and helping methods,which can effectively supplement the problems of underemployment,time constraints,heavy tasks,lack of individuation and pertinence,and single interaction modes in traditional college employment guidance.Aiming at the causes of the employment difficulties of college students in School A,this article uses the social work group work method to intervene in the employment difficulties of college students to help college students raise the awareness of employment subjects at the individual level,explore career interests,and find suitable and interested service targets.Career,further cultivate college students’ career planning and job search ability,reasonably adjust the pressure in the employment process,and at the same time promote the ability of college students to actively obtain resources and support at the interpersonal and environmental levels,thereby restoring employment confidence,solving the problem of employment difficulties,and seeking employment for college students Add a strong guarantee in the process.
