With the rapid development of the maker movement in China,maker education has gradually developed from institutions of higher learning to elementary and middle schools.As a new type of education model,Maker Education improves students' ability to innovate and solve problems by doing middle school and playing middle school.In the application and implementation of maker education,maker activity design has gradually attracted widespread attention from educational researchers.Since maker education entered the school,many schools have actively used maker education resources to carry out various maker activities.Some schools have established maker spaces to carry out maker courses and maker activity practices,and some schools have adopted Quest education is a way to promote maker education,allowing students to improve their creative thinking and practical ability by participating in maker competitions.This research mainly promotes the development of maker education through the design and practice of maker activities,which in turn stimulates students' creative consciousness,improves students' creative ability,hands-on ability and teamwork ability.This research is a theme-based maker activity design and practice study.The main contents are as follows:First,by using the learned knowledge and related literature,a theme-based maker activity design model is researchedand established through theme teaching methods.This model mainly includes needs analysis,activity subject and object analysis,activity theme design,life situation design,Design of learning activities and activity evaluation design;Secondly,based on the establishment of the maker activity design model,based on the Makeblock maker robotics course,and based on the maker teaching and competition of the N school,eight theme maker activity designs were designed.In the fifth grade,the maker activity is the research object,and it is implemented by three rounds of action research.While the students master the knowledge,they will improve the students' practical ability,innovation ability and teamwork ability;Third,the results of the maker activity were evaluated using a variety of evaluation methods,including classroom observation methods,work evaluation methods,and evaluation of students' innovative and practical abilities through multiple evaluation methods.The research results show that the implementation of theme-based maker activities can improve the creativity and practical ability of elementary and middle school students,and has positive significance for cultivating innovative talents in the future.It also provides some reference values for other primary and secondary schools to carry out maker activities experience.
