In 2017,the Ministry of Education officially issued the Chinese curriculum standard for senior high schools(2017 version)(hereinafter referred to as the "new curriculum standard"),which defines the Chinese literacy proposed in the 2003 Chinese curriculum standard for senior high schools(Experiment)as the subject core literacy,and creatively proposes 18 learning task groups to improve the subject core literacy in the course content."Whole book reading and discussion" is at the top of the learning task group,which means that the whole book reading is officially included in the curriculum system.The purpose of learning task group is to improve the current situation of students' fragmented reading by reading the whole book,accumulate reading experience,master reading methods,improve reading ability,finally form good reading habits,and promote the overall improvement of Chinese core literacy.As a classic masterpiece,dream of the red chamber has always been praised by people.The second volume of compulsory edition of the Chinese Department of senior high school published in 2019 has selected dream of the red chamber into the reading unit of the whole book.Since the introduction of the new curriculum standard,many front-line teachers have carried out a lot of classroom practice on the whole book reading teaching of "dream of Red Mansions",and constantly discussed teaching strategies to improve the teaching effect.In terms of improving teaching quality and teaching effect,case study is an effective way.At present,there are few research results on the whole book reading teaching of the dream of Red Mansions.This study takes g middle school(ordinary high school)in B city as an example to study the reading teaching of the whole book dream of Red Mansions,aiming to analyze the teaching design,teaching strategy,teaching implementation,teaching effect,etc.under the situation of ordinary learning,in order to carry out the "dream of Red Mansions" and other whole book reading teaching line teachers to provide some useful inspiration.This paper is divided into three chapters:The first chapter is about the teaching situation and analysis of reading the whole book "a dream of Red Mansions" in G Middle School of B city.This chapter uses the methods of investigation and interview to investigate the current teaching situation of reading the whole book of a dream of Red Mansions in G Middle School of B city from the perspective of students and teachers,and analyzes the causes of the problems to understand the learning situation.The second chapter is the case study of reading teaching of the whole book "a dream of Red Mansions" in G Middle School of B city.This chapter is divided into two parts: the introduction of relevant contents and the study of lesson examples.The first part introduces the relevant content of lesson research from two aspects of text and teaching subject.The second part studies lesson research from four aspects: teaching goal,teaching strategy,teaching implementation and teaching effect.The third chapter is the Enlightenment of the case study to the whole book reading teaching.This chapter explains the inspiration of this case study to the whole book reading teaching from three aspects: preparation,strategy and evaluation.
