Research On College Students' Mobile Learning Strategies From The Perspective Of Activity Theory

Today,with the rapid development of network information technology,mobile terminals provide technical support and guarantee for students to learn anytime and anywhere.It not only can extend the learning time,provide ample learning resources,and at the same time,it is convenient and flexible to meet the needs of learners to study anywhere,anytime,and help students find a suitable learning style for their individual learning.From studying life,the author finds that the current college students already have the conditions of mobile learning,but can not better apply mobile devices to learning.To improve this problem,this paper has done the following research.(1)This study collates,analyzes and summarizes the research results of mobile learning at home and abroad through the literature research method.By analyzing the definition and explanation of mobile learning,the author summarizes the characteristics of mobile learning.Based on the research status and future development trend of mobile learning,combined with activity theory and mobile learning characteristics,this paper analyzes the elements of mobile learning activities from the perspective of activity theory,and proposes the idea of using mobile theory to design mobile learning activities to provide strategies for mobile learning.(2)This study investigates students' mobile learning awareness,mobile learning behavior,and mobile learning attitude through questionnaire survey.The data is analyzed by SPSS 21.0,which provides data support for better analysis of teaching effects.On the basis of this,in order to improve the mobile learning ability of college students,under the guidance of activity theory and teaching design concept,combined with the characteristics of mobile learning,the author has carried out a series of strategies to promote students' mobile learning from six aspects: learning content design,activity core element design,activity agency design,activity environment design,activity process design and evaluation design.(3)On the basis of the above work,taking the experiment of ‘Web2.0-based digital learning environment for college students' as an example,with the object of 16 undergraduates recruited from Ningbo University,the author applied the mobile learning strategy to teaching.Through the questionnaire survey and analysis,the students' mobile learning awareness,mobile learning behavior and mobile learning attitude are evaluated.And the interview method is used to understand the satisfaction degree of the trial object to the research process.The research results show that the design of mobile learning strategies based on the perspective of activity theory can help college students' mobile learning awareness,mobile learning behavior and mobile learning attitudes.This kind of learning method can meet the learning needs of learners,and were generally recognized by them.
