Gender equality is always our goal and an integral part of the development of human rights in the world.History is created jointly by men and women,and the future also needs the joint efforts of men and women.It is an important task of school education to cultivate students' view of gender equality.Under the background of new curriculum reform,gender equality is one of the values pursued by history education.History as a humanities discipline plays an important role in establishing the concept of gender equality among students.Therefore,female figures are indispensable in high school history courses.But the reality is that there is a female characters in the high school history curriculum of weakening phenomenon,and because of the teachers' teaching and students' learning female characters not value produced by a few questions: one is the weakening of female subject in the textbooks,whether the current people's version of the required textbook or part of the province of the trial of the Chinese and foreign history compendium,the female character's pen and ink is less;Second,the lack of female roles in history classroom teaching,from the feudal society to modern female education,and then to the present history classroom,there are gender bias problems;Third,students pay little attention to female figures in their study.They do not think that learning history is the study of "human" history,let alone female figures.The limited amount of class time and the lack of communication between students and teachers cause students to pay little attention to female figures.Based on the above questions,the author went deep into high school classes,audited open classes,character teaching classes and personal practical experience.Based on the results of research data,the author proposed countermeasures for teaching female characters in high school history courses.Second,curriculum standards and textbooks need to emphasize a gender equality perspective.Thirdly,teachers should play a leading role in making students realize the important role played by women figures in history.In order to explore the effectiveness of the above strategies in practical teaching,taking the lesson of New Culture Movement as an example,this paper attempts to take female figures as the main line of history classroom teaching,and finds out some shortcomings,which further leads to the feasibility of rethinking teaching strategies.
