School education is of great significance to the initial formation of students’ values.The textbook,one of the carriers of school education,is an important medium for transmitting knowledge to students.The theme of female historical figures plays an indispensable role in the teaching of junior high school history.Because of the first contact with historical subjects and historical figures,junior high school students have some inadequacies about the female characters in historical textbooks.In the analysis of the female characters appearing in the newly revised junior high school history textbooks,it is found that the female characters are less in number than the previous teaching materials;in terms of characters,they are relatively simple;from the image point of view,the comments are not comprehensive enough.Therefore,it is not conducive to the junior high school students to correctly understand and evaluate female historical figures.This is not conducive to the formation of a correct gender concept for junior high school students.It also reflects the distraction of female historical materials due to the influence of the preparation of textbooks.The role of female historical figures in the history teaching of junior high school is not prominent enough.The article comprehensively analyzes the female characters appearing in the textbooks of the junior high school in the compilation of the ministry,supplemented by the questionnaire survey of the cognitive status of female historical figures by junior high school students,and finds that there are fewer problems,negative images,etc.Sexuality proposed several measures: correct interpretation of female history,enriching female characters,teachers’ correct teaching guidance and supplementing teaching resources,and strengthening the positive education of female characters.It enables students to fully and correctly understand the role and significance of female historical figures in history from historical study and school education.
