The Characteristics And Enlightenment Of Geography Textbook In Russian Middle School

Geography teaching material is an important basis for teachers to carry out teaching activities and students to carry out learning practice.It plays an important role in reflecting curriculum concept and subject characteristics.Since the 21 st century,in order to meet the needs of education in the new era,the Ministry of education has revised the geography curriculum standard of junior high school for many times.In 2011,it issued the latest geography curriculum standard and launched a number of excellent textbooks.However,there are still some deficiencies in the current geography textbooks for junior high school.In order to deepen the teaching methods and improve the level of basic education in China,it is necessary to actively learn from foreign advanced ideas and practices.Russian geography education has a long tradition of characteristics,and in history,China and Russia have a close relationship.After the disintegration of the Soviet Union,the study of the current Russian geography textbook in China is almost blank,with a large research space,so the analysis of the Russian geography textbook can provide a new perspective for the compilation of China's geography textbook.In this paper,the geography textbook of Grade 8 published by Russia's Дрофа publishing house,“Russian Geography: nature,population and economy”,is the research object.By using the research methods of literature research,chart analysis,induction and summary,this paper briefly introduces the setting of Geography Curriculum in Russian middle school and the general situation of geography curriculum standard in junior middle school.Based on consulting and analyzing the relevant research of Russian geography textbook,it focuses on the analysis of the textbook Features of structure,style,text system,image system and activity system.The research and analysis show that the style and structure of the textbook are flexible and changeable,and they do not stick to a single form,which makes the selection of the content of the textbook more flexible,the key and difficult points more prominent,and the detailed arrangement appropriate;the content of the text is more extensive,the practicality is emphasized,the environmental education is emphasized,the language expression is clear and rigorous,the organization and logicality are strong;the types of images are rich,The printing is clear and the configuration is reasonable.This arrangement is conducive to giving full play to the advantages of all kinds of images.There are various types of activities,which are widely distributed in the textbooks,and each type of activity has its own characteristics and functions.Based on the analysis of the characteristics of “Russian Geography: nature,population and economy”,this paper puts forward some references for the compilation of Chinese junior high school geography textbooks,mainly including the following aspects:(1)strengthening the flexibility of the compilation style and the diversity of column purpose;(2)enrich the content of the appendix;(3)increasing the introduction of geographical historical events and geographers;(4)improving the map Like quality,deepen image design;(5)improve the types of activities,attach importance to heuristic teaching,and implement the cultivation of geographical practice.Limited to research time and level,this paper may have some shortcomings.Including the understanding of some professional vocabulary in translation is not necessarily accurate,and the analysis of some problems is not deep enough;the understanding of Russian geography textbook lacks the support of relevant curriculum resources,which may lead to the understanding of Russian geography textbook is not comprehensive.
