Under the background of the new curriculum reform,it is the value pursuit of the geography discipline to implement the goal of moral education through the cultivation of geographic core literacy.As one of the four geographic core literacy,the cultivation of geography practical ability mainly depends on geography practical activities.However,geography practical activities are difficult to carry out in daily teaching,and they are forced to be marginalized for a long time.Therefore,the most difficult and weakest aspect of the current core literacy cultivation is the cultivation of geography practical ability.Geography textbooks serve for geography education and teaching.they not only have the function of imparting knowledge to students,but also have the value of cultivating students' geographic core literacy,and should also take on the important task of cultivating students' geography practical ability.Especially after the newly revised textbooks are put into use in the classroom,the cultivation of geography practical ability and the use of geography textbooks should be paid more attention,and the two should be combined for in-depth research.On the one hand,teachers will be familiar with textbooks and effective teaching as soon as possible;on the other hand,it will highlight the cultivation of students' geography practical ability.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to analyze the embodiment of geography practical ability in the geography textbook compulsory volume 1 of senior high school in PEP and put forward teaching strategies.This article first uses the literature research method to sort out the main research results and shortcomings of geography textbooks and geography practical ability at home and abroad.It is found that the domestic research on the combination of geography practical ability with the geography textbook compulsory volume 1 of senior high school in PEP is still lacking.Taking this as a breakthrough,the author takes the embodiment of geography practical ability in the compulsory volume 1 and teaching strategies as the main content of the research,and then explains the concepts of geography practical ability,geography textbooks and teaching strategies,and carry out follow-up research based on "learning by doing" theory,labor education theory,constructivist learning theory and system science theory.Immediately afterwards,the author uses statistical analysis to make an in-depth analysis of the embodiment of geography practical ability in the compulsory volume 1.First,it analyzes the background,educational function and system structure of the textbook based on the geography practical ability,and then it specifically analyzes the embodiment of geography practical ability in the surface system of the textbook(text system,image system and homework system)and the level of the embodiment.Finally,the following conclusions are drawn: The geography practical ability in the textbook has the characteristics of realistic content,rich and diverse forms,and balanced and reasonable levels.At the same time,there are also shortcomings in the reflection of geography practical ability in the textbook: lack of simulation experiments and model making activities,lack of comprehensive geography practical activities,and ignore the systematic narration of geographical practice methods.Subsequently,the questionnaire survey method was used to investigate the current situation of high school students' geographic practice,not only understand that the current situation of high school students' participation in geography practical activities is not ideal,but also understand that their current level of geography practical ability is uneven.The author also surveyed the teachers' attitude towards to the geography practical activities of the compulsory volume 1 and the textbook,and obtained the good words and good strategies of many teachers,and found a reliable basis for the teaching strategies proposed later.Based on the systematic and in-depth study of the practical ability of geography in the compulsory volume 1,combined with the survey results of the current situation of the geography practical ability of high school students,the author uses the summary and induction method to put forward six teaching strategies for the cultivation of senior high school students' geography practical ability and explain them in detail: Combine macro and micro,activate and efficient use textbooks;Create real problem situations,train students' practical thinking;Enrich the types of practical activities,cultivate students' practical awareness;Optimize and integrate practical activities,enhance students' practical ability;Innovate practical activity methods,steadily improve the quality of training;Teachers and students cooperate to design plans,cultivate the core literacy of geography together.Finally,the author made a brief summary of the research conclusions of this article,at the same time reflected on the deficiencies of the research,and hoped that more scholars can further study on this basis.
