| Loneliness is a functional disorder in emotional expression and interpersonal communication.Social skill-based problem behaviors refer to the behavior and emotional difficulties in social interaction in early childhood. Some research points out that middle-class children are in the critical period of physical and mental development,so it is particularly important to explore their loneliness and social skills. To investigate the relationship between loneliness and social skill-based problem behaviors of middle-class children, and analyze the causes and countermeasures, can provide parents with parenting guidance strategies, which plays an important role in reducing loneliness and social skill-based problem behaviors of children. In order to explore the relationship between loneliness and social skill-based problem behaviors of middle-class children, the current study used the teacher's version of "Children Loneliness Scale" and "Social Skills Rating Scale" to track loneliness and social skill-based problem behaviors of middle-class children.230middle-class children in kindergartens were selected as the research object,and217 valid questionnaires were obtained in the two surveys.According to the analysis of the data obtained,it is found that:(1)there is no significant gender difference in the loneliness and social skill-based problem behaviors of middle-class children.(2)there is a significant difference between middle-class children's loneliness and social skill-based problem behaviors in the place of origin.Rural children have a higher level of loneliness, while urban children have more social skill-based problem behaviors.(3)in the first measurement,it was found that the score of only children was significantly higher than that of non-only children.(4)the loneliness of middle-class children is significantly different from the education level of their parents. The loneliness level of children with parents' education background below junior middle school is significantly higher than thatof children with parents' education background above university.(5)the loneliness and social skill-based problem behaviors of middle-class children are significantly different in terms of family economic income. The higher the family economic income is,the less the loneliness and social skill-based problem behaviors of middle-class children are.(6)there was a significant positive correlation between loneliness and social skill-based problem behaviors scores of middle-class children.(7)although the loneliness of middle-class children at T1(the first measurement)could not predict the social skill-based problem behaviors at T2(the second measurement),the social skill-based problem behaviors at T1 could predict the loneliness at T2.According to the above research results, the current research puts forward the corresponding educational suggestions. On the one hand, suggestions for families:(1)improve the level of caregivers' parenting and reduce the loneliness of rural middle-class children;(2)to improve the education level of parents, adopt positive parenting methods, and reduce the loneliness and social skill-based problem behaviors of middle-class children;(3)increase family economic income and narrow the gap caused by economic income inequality to the development of children in the middle-class.On the other hand, suggestions for schools:(1)preschool teachers should improve the peer communication ability of children in the middle-class and reduce the occurrence of social skill-based problem behaviors;(2)to improve the kindergarten environment and reduce the risk of loneliness among middle-class children;(3)kindergartens should strengthen the construction of bridge communication and improve the home cooperation system. |
