Study On The Influence And Strategies Of Senior High School Biology Teaching In Yongchuan District Of Chongqing Under The Implement Of "3+1+2" College Entrance Examination Mode

"3+1+2" college entrance examination mode,as a new mode of college entrance examination mainly carried out by the third batch of pilot provinces and cities of reform in the examination,which is a bold attempt for deepening the comprehensive reform in the examination.There are multi-dimensional changes involving in method and content of examination,evaluation mechanism and admission etc.The essence of the reform is to lay emphasis on quality-oriented education and personal development of students.The study analyzes the influence on senior high school biology teaching after “3+1+2” college entrance examination model put into practice by means of questionnaires and interviews in Yong Chuan district of Chongqing.Under the guidance of the research theme,different questionnaires were issued to part of the grade two students in three different high schools,which chose biology as test subject in the college entrance examination,as well as the 97% senior high school biology teachers in Yongchuan.This questionnaire survey has received a total of 1037 valid questionnaires from students and 76 valid questionnaires from teachers.Through statistics and analysis of the questionnaire,the following conclusions were drawn:1,Student level:(1)The "3+1+2" college entrance examination mode can provide students with more choices and students can choose their favorite subject combination based on their own characteristics and interests,it was highly supported by students.Whlie,because of the deficiencies in policy publicity,about 62.85% of the interviewed students even do not understand the biology scoring mechanism of the college entrance examination.(2)After the adoption of the "3+1+2" college entrance examination mode,the teaching effectiveness and homework quality of biology subject have been improved compared to the past in students' heart.While the learning initiative for the students is still short and the attention paid to biology subject for the students is also insufficient.For eaxample,only 34% of the students can actively learning and consulting with teachers and classmates,more than 75% of students do not have biological related learning plan during the holiday.(3)After the implementation of the "3+1+2" college entrance examination mode,the difference of learning ability between students in the same class is more significant,and more than 54% of students hope that teachers can adopt diversified teaching methods to realize layered teaching.(4)In terms of vocational career planning,the questionnaires showed that about 38.18% of the interviewed students have no vocational career planning,for the students who have vocational career planning in the brain getting the guidance of career planning mainly comes from teachers.2.Teacher level:(1)Senior high school biology teachers have some understanding of the relevant policies of the "3+1+2" new college entrance examination mode,and more than 75% of biology teachers hold a supportive attitude towards the "3+1+2" new college entrance examination mode.(2)The biology teachers in the grade two of senior high schools said that the teaching effectiveness in the class and homework quality have been improved since the implementation of the "3+1+2" college entrance examination mode.(3)After the implementation of the "3+1+2" college entrance examination mode,senior high school biology teachers reported that the main challenges they faced were as follows: more obvious differences among students in the same class,the shortage of biology experimenter and laboratory equipment.(4)In order to meet the requirements of classroom teaching and students' further study,biology teachers adjusted their teaching objectives and methods properly after the "3+1+2" college entrance examination mode implementation.(5)As far as the guidance of "vocational career planning" is concerned,21.05% of biology teachers have taken actively practice in class,but the effect was still not obvious,some teachers even worry about that lake of information on employment may misleads the students.On the basis of questionnaire survey,this study also interviewed some biology teachers of grade 2 in senior high school,to discuss the reasons for the lack of Students' emphasis on Biology,the increasing of teachers' workload,the lack of biological experiment teaching facilities.What's more,the methods to enhance the teaching effect and biological subject status were also consulted in the interview.Based on the results of the questionnaire survey and the inspiration from teacher interviews,this study proposes the following strategies at multiple levels of education management departments,schoolsand biology teachers.For the education management department,in addition to enhancing the promotion of education policies,they should also combine the characteristics of student selection in the "3+1+2" mode to optimize the allocation of teaching resources.For senior high schools,the importance of vocational career planning education in selecting subjects for students should be emphasized,and the system of vocational career planning education should be established and perfected as soon as possible.For the biology teachers,education and teaching methods should be enriched to enhance students' interest in biology subject.They also should focus on improving their personal education and teaching literacy and implementation of the layered teaching.What's more,they should optimize classroom design to improve the teaching effectiveness under the guidance of “New Curriculum Standards” and “Entrance Examination Outline”.
