As the course reform advances, the question of how college entrance examination can both promote talent selection and guide high school biology teaching has become a hotly debated issue. By analyzing of the Fujian biology college entrance examination papers for the last four years (2010-2014), I got some significant founding for the high school’s effective teaching and some useful suggestions for designing biology examination questions. This paper mainly applied two research methodologies---Literature review and induction. It was concluded some characteristics of Fujian biology college entrance examination papers from four aspects--the construction of examination papers, the content of examination papers, the ability testing, and the direction of designing questions. The feature of Fujian college entrance examination is that it emphasizes on testing of students’biology scientific knowledge, comprehensive ability, and the ability of applying the theoretical biology knowledge into practice. However, the disadvantages are the lack of open examination questions, the testing of students’all-round abilities, and the direction of designing questions is undefined. I proposed some suggestions for the high school’s effective teaching in biology which are based on the conclusions above; for the strategy of teaching preparation, a teacher should prepare himself and teaching materials advanced. For the strategy of teaching application, a teacher should change his teaching style to mainly consider students’ demands, develop students’ ability of applying the theoretical knowledge into practice, and demonstrate students’ emotion feelings. For the strategy of teaching evaluation, a teacher should build a correct viewpoint of education evaluation, consider students’ evaluation seriously and demonstrate the evaluation of teaching process and students’ development. Further, this paper offers some suggestion for designing biology examination questions:adding more open examination questions, clarifying the phrases of questions, and demonstrating students’comprehensive ability. |
