The political thoughts of the 17th century English enlightenment philosophers are innovative in the history of modern political development.Some of them are forward-looking and proactive,and still play a major roll in the history of world legal development.Besides,the methods that these 17th century English enlightenment philosophers used in their research and discuss are generative and inspiring.Therefore,the writer purpose to set special topics instruction of the political thoughts of Thomas Hobbes and John Locke in Yuelu version history textbook,and combine it with the lecture of democratic political construction in China.The writer thinks that Thomas Hobbes'impressive vision,such as state sovereignty、social contract theory,and John Locke's theory of separation of powers are helpful to let students understand the nature of the Enlightenment and review the establishment and development of western democracy.Meanwhile,combing their nation theory with modern China's constitutional system can stimulate students'understanding of the people's democratic dictatorship.Furthermore,the writer also insists that it is important to pay great attention to interpreting historical concepts in the history teaching of the high schools,in order to help students realize the essence of historical events.For this purpose,the writer thinks the expanding research concerning to the thoughts of English enlightenment should be launched in the history education of the high schools,including developing teaching practice and summarizing teaching experience.The first chapter starts with analyzing and discussing the background and the value of implanting the expanding research regarding the thoughts of English enlightenment in the history education of the high schools;The second chapter analyzes the main thoughts of Thomas Hobbes and John Locke to excavate the value of the political thoughts of the 17th century English enlightenment philosophers to Chinese contemporary history teaching in high schools;Then,the third chapter revolves the special topics instruction of the political thoughts of Thomas Hobbes and John Locke,so as to provide references to the history education in high schools;In the end,the fourth chapter analyzes and concludes the principles and methods of the special topics instruction of the thoughts of English enlightenment philosophers,and summarizes teaching experience.
