As an important part of the textbook,homework is not only the consolidation,supplement and continuation of the text knowledge,but also an important way for students to think independently and improve themselves.In addition,as an important part of the academic evaluation system,it also reflects the way and idea of textbook evaluation.It can be seen that the operating system plays an important role in promoting education,teaching and student development.As a developed country in education,the United States has a lot to learn from in the compilation of textbooks.Text analysis,this article USES the selection by the McGraw-Hill press published in 2006 of the California compulsory,social studies textbooks World History:Modern Times(the History of the World:the Modern World),for example to analyze the American high school History textbooks of History homework design,makes every effort to explore the American high school History textbook in the structure,content and characteristics of the operating system,and on this basis the practical for our country's high school History homework design in order to provide the beneficial reference and enlightenment.The article is divided into five parts.The first part analyzes the design requirements of California history curriculum standards on California 10th grade history homework,and on this basis,combs the relationship between American high school history homework and curriculum standards.In addition,the structure of the book is outlined to give a general understanding of the book as a whole.The second part involves the composition and basic content of the homework subject system of California World History:Modern Times.It makes a detailed arrangement and analysis of the subject content and composition structure of the homework subject system of the book,and sorts out the presentation mode and general content of the homework design of the textbook.The third part mainly analyzes the three handbooks of the work assistance system:the reading manual,the geography skill manual and the skill builder's manual.The fourth part analyzes the overall design of the operating system of California World History:Modern Times,evaluates it from five aspects,and explores the design ideas of the History homework topics of American high schools and the educational values behind them.The fifth part draws on the advantages of the homework design of California World History:Modern Times,combines with the actual History education in China and the current situation of the homework design of high school History,and proposes the enlightenment of effectively improving the homework design of high school History textbook in China.Strengthening the design and research of operating system;From the perspective of learning psychology;Tools and core,correctly handle the relationship between homework and text;Strengthen the guidance of study method,from "teaching material" to "learning material".
