With the development of China's urbanization process,a tribe called rural-urban continuum has emerged,which is an intermediate transition district between urban and rural areas.In the context of the call for educational equity is growing,the education of rural-urban continuum is also getting more and more attention.As a branch of Chinese learning,classical poetry plays an important role in junior high school,whose innovation in teaching method has been a issue of concern of people.How to take full advantage of the situational approach to Chinese classical poetry teaching of junior high school in rural-urban continuum,exploring a better way to make in-class teaching refresh and lively,which is the subject of this paper.Based on the previous research,this paper takes the Hainan Baiju School as an example,through literature analysis,questionnaire,classroom observation and teachers'interview,to study the application status and suggestions on the situational teaching method of classical poetry in rural-urban continuum school,from four dimensions of school,textbook,teachers and students.This paper contains four parts:1.Introduction.This part includes the research background,research significance,research content overview,research methods,concept definition and current research status at home and abroad.2.Environment of School in Rural-urban Continuum:an Overview.With combination of the environment of rural-urban continuum,the school teaching concept,and students' own characteristics,this part analyzes the influence of these factors on the situational approach to Chinese classical poetry teaching.3.The Status Quo of Situational Approach to Chinese Classical Poetry Teaching in Hainan Baiju School.This part mainly analyzes the results of the questionnaire,and discusses the current situation of the school's situational approach to Chinese classical poetry teaching,which can be descried as the audio-visual atmosphere,including the related videos,pictures,music and so on.If4.The Problem and Analysis of the Application of Situational Approach to Chinese Classical Poetry Teaching in Hainan Baiju School.Through conducting interviews,this part make an in-depth understanding of the problems and causes of the situational approach to Chinese classical poetry teaching,which can be summarized as the teachers are lack of theoretical knowledge and always highly concerned about test scores,and the students'learning motivation and habits are not developed,with the amount and difficulty of textbook increasing.5.The Suggestions on the Application of the Situational Approach to Chinese Classical Poetry Teaching of Junior High School in Rural-urban Continuum,Some suggestions are put forward from three perspectives-schools,teachers and students.Schools must change the teaching thoughts that attach importance to exam-oriented education at first,then actively create opportunities for teachers to academic training,also provide more convenience for teachers to prepare for the lessons.For teachers,they should enhance learning,be well-prepared for classes,create rich situational approach,and be evaluated by combination of multiple methods.Meanwhile,students should develop good learning habits and drop their insistence on test scores,and make their every effort to improve their quality.
