With the rapid development of internet and the advancement of intelligent science and technology "We media" will make a significant impact on education and teaching in the future.In the context of the new curriculum reform,cultivating students' self-learning habits and abilities is not only the need of the development of the times,but also the need of implementing new curriculum standard and promoting the overall healthy development of individuals.This proposed research will aim at the issues arising from the related theories and practices,and explore the feasible approaches for independent extracurricular learning of high school physics in the "We media" era.Based on the current research status of "We media" and extracurricular self-learning of physics,we plan to gain the knowledge about the actual situation via one-on-one interview.The outcome of the interviews,in combination of the self-media information sources e.g.We Chat Public Account,Tik Tok,etc will be used to folster a whole set of organization standards for extracurricular self-learning of high school physics.Exemplar cases will be developed and utilized as part of preliminary preparation for the ESLP in consideration of the following aspects:extracurricular extension of knowledge from the class,promotion of general scientific knowledge,supplement of interesting knowledge,penetration of physics culture and the experience of physical experiments.Such ESLP will be conducted and completed in alignment with the actual circumstances the author experienced in his current teaching position.A typical procedure will be formulated as follows:Teachers release the suggested study content or assignment,then students carry out ESLP activities individually,students share the difficulties they encountered as well as the results and extend their learning independently.Following such executed procedures,the author conducted a questionnaire with the students assigned to trial group and control group.The survey results were analyzed and summarized.It was found that such self-media aided ESLP which improved the learning,expanded the ways of question discussing and results sharing,and fostered the habit of making for ESLP.Finally,the author summarized the achievements made in this research as well as deficiencies identified,providing a clear direction for the following research.
