The law of cognitive development and behavioral characteristics of primary school students determine that their learning style should "combine learning with fun",which is commonly understood as "learning by playing".However,The "learning by playing" of elementary school students is confronted with many difficulties in educational practice,which greatly hinders the realization of "learning by playing" educational value.This paper adheres to the principle of combining theory With practice,and using the method of literature,questionnaire and interview to study the problem of "learning by playing".This paper is divided into four parts:The first part is a theoretical exposition of the meaning and educational value of"learning by playing"." Learning by playing "refers to a learning method combining"play" with "study" that primary school students actively participate in or get involved in a variety of games or activities organized by teachers,parents and themselves to explore actively,generate positive emotional experience,and develop moral,intellectual,physical and aesthetic aspects.It has the basic characteristics of taking the students as the main body,taking the interest as the basis,taking the teacher's guidance as the guide,taking the activity as the carrier and promoting the students' comprehensive and harmonious development as the purpose.Then it summarizes the important educational value contained in "learning by playing" of primary school students.The second part is a survey of the current situation of primary school students"learning by playing".The investigation and analysis are carried out from the two dimensions of the development and experience of primary school students.Which is divided in five parts,such as the attitude towards "learning by playing";the current situation of "learning by playing" in class;the current situation of "learning by playing"out of class;the current situation of "learning by playing" in family;the participation effect of "learning by playing".The current situation of " learning by playing " is as follows:Primary school students generally like to participate in " learning by playing "games or activities;In class," learning by playing " activities or games are carried out more times and have better effects than extracurricular activities and family activities;The main purpose of extracurricular and family " learning by playing" games or activities is to help students to learn new knowledge,while the improvement of students'physical quality,aesthetic awareness,hands-on ability,social skills and innovation ability is relatively neglected.The third part analyzes the practical dilemma and its reasons of "learning by playing" based on the investigation results and interview materials.The practical dilemma is as follows:the resources of "learning by playing" are inadequate in school;the activities of are not carried out enough and in a single form;activities are not organized systematically;lack of timely and effective evaluation;lack of parental cooperation.And to explore the reasons for the dilemma,mainly have the bias of educational concept has restricted the importance of "learning by playing" in schools;the noise of.the exam-oriented education limit opportunities for pupils to participate in "learning by playing" activities;poor implementation of education policies reduces the effectiveness of "learning by playing".The fourth part is to optimize the "learning by playing" countermeasures.In view of the practical dilemma of "learning by playing" and its causes,the countermeasures to promote the realization of "learning by playing" are put forward.It mainly includes:renewal of educational philosophy;strengthening policy guidance on "learning by playing";Creating a good "learning by playing" environment;Improving teachers' quality of "learning by playing".
