In international Chinese teaching,choosing appropriate teaching theory to guide teaching activities has always been the focus of research in teaching Chinese as a forei gn language.Constructivism learning theory breaks the teacher-centered teaching mode in traditional teaching thought,emphasizes the student-centered teacher-led learning concept,and allows students to construct knowledge content independently.T hrough the teaching practice,it is found that the teaching theory can play an important role in the primary Chinese comprehensive course in Thai primary school,which accords with the learning characteristics of Thai primary school students.The present research shows that the application of constructivism learning theory in Thai middle school listening and speaking class is more,and the application in primary primary Chinese comprehensive class is not enough.Therefore,we selected the first volume of "Happy Chinese" lesson 24 " bus station is in front " as the teaching content,taking the third grade and third class of Public Wenyi School in Chonburi,Thailand as the teaching object,using constructivism learning theory to carry on the teaching,and exploring the application of constructivism learning theory in the primary Chinese comprehensive course in Thai primary schools.This paper first introduces the research background and significance of the topic,analyzes the current research situation of constructivism learning theory and primary Chinese comprehensive course,and explains the research methods;second,expounds the basic viewpoint of the teaching theory,the teaching mode and teaching principles followed.The basic viewpoints of constructivist learning theory are divided into know ledge view,learning view and teaching view.The teaching models advocated by this th eory include random access teaching,anchored teaching and scaffolding teaching.The teaching principles followed include: student-centered,teacher-led;emphasis on the u se of situational creation in teaching;emphasis on cooperative learning;and timely tes ting of teaching results.third,analyzes the feasibility of applying the teaching theory to primary Chinese comprehensive courses in primary schools in Thailand from three aspects: the school spirit,teaching place and abundant curriculum have laid the foundation for primary Chinese teaching.The students' age,character and motivation meet the research conditions of constructivism theory,and the contents of the teaching materials are suitable for primary Chinese level pupils;forth,show the application case of the teaching theory in the primary Chinese comprehensive course of primary school in Thailand.Finally,the application of the teaching theory is evaluated and reflected from three aspects: classroom observation,classroom test and teacher-studen t interview,and the teaching suggestions are put forward according to the problems in practice.
