The "half past three problem" in primary schools in China is a product of the uncoordinated development of education reform and economic development,it is an educational problem that arises in the process of reducing the burden on elementary and middle school students and regulating the management of primary and secondary schools,it is also a social problem that has arisen with the development of social economy and the change in family structure.In order to cope with the "half past three problem",after-school hosting has emerged at the historic moment,and the development of on-campus hosting has become an inevitable trend.To some extent,the implementation of on-campus hosting can make up for the lack of family education and expand the institutionalized school education.However,due to the fact that primary school students'on-campus hosting work is in the trial stage,there are still many problems in the specific implementation process.Therefore,it is necessary to grasp the problems accurately and analyze them in combination with the current environment.This paper summarizes the relevant problems in the practical operation of H primary school in Wuhan,grasps its causes and key points,and puts forward corresponding improvement strategies,so as to improve the level of on-campus hosting services for primary school students,and promote the development of high-quality and professional on-campus hosting services.On the basis of combing domestic and foreign research results on after-school hosting,clearly defined the concept of on-campus hosting,and expounded the theoretical basis,the nature and multiple values of on-campus hosting;secondly,selected the H elementary school in Wuhan as a sample,and used questionnaire surveys and interviews to conduct a survey on the status of post-school hosting,summarized the main problems existing in the implementation of on-campus hosting,namely insufficient hosting time,single hosting content,insufficient hosting staff,poor hosting supervision,and analyzed the reasons for these problems;finally,in view of the existing problems in on-campus hosting,combined with the relevant experience of developed countries' after-school hosting,we propose improvement strategies from three aspects:ideology,system,and practice.
