Happiness is the goal of life and the goal of education.With the development of the times,the relationship between happiness and education has increasingly attracted people's attention,and topics related to happiness education have also begun to be studied."A good principal is a good school." This sentence is common in newspapers and heard in meetings.The principal is the leader,manager,educator of the school,and the leader of the happiness of the teachers and students of the school.His professional happiness not only has an important influence on the principal himself,and also the teaching work of the school.This paper conducts an empirical investigation on the professional well-being of the headmasters of L City in Hunan Province,and understands the overall situation of the career happiness of the principals in L City from the aspects of job satisfaction,job achievement and inner satisfaction,analyzes the professional happiness of middle school principals from six dimensions: income satisfaction,working environment,physical and mental health,interpersonal relationships,job recognition and self-realization.It is found that the main factors affecting the vocational happiness of middle school principals are: the school is highly concerned and the social expectation is too high;From the view of the higher administrative department,one is evaluate the principal by single indicator,and the other is various types of inspections;From the professional point of view,the middle school principal's work is complicated and there are many daily management problems.Based on these problems,combined with Maslow's hierarchy theory,the reasons for these problems are analyzed from the three levels of society,government departments and principals.Based on this,a targeted strategy is proposed.First of all,the society must hold reasonable role expectations for the principal and give more social support to its work.The competent education department should focus on improving the evaluation system of the principal,and at the same time,moderately decentralize the power to create a more relaxed environment for the principal to run the school.The headmaster of the middle school must hold the correct "three outlooks",with the pursuit of education for all students to grow up,and strive to improve their professional ability.At the same time,they must learn to adjust themselves in the specific work and hold a good attitude in the face of problems.
