Reading,for teachers,is an important way to increase knowledge and improve teaching level,and an indispensable means in the process of a teacher's growth.On the one hand,reading can help teachers expand their knowledge structure,enrich their spiritual life and improve their knowledge reserve while realizing their life value;on the other hand,reading can help teachers broaden their horizons,consolidate their professional knowledge and promote their teaching level.Reading is the guarantee to help teachers grow into an excellent teacher.Without high-quality reading,it is difficult to have high-quality teaching and life.Teachers' reading is an effective way to enhance the charm of the classroom,a necessary measure to guide students' reading,and an effective way for primary school teachers to grow professionally.But in the real teaching life,because of the influence of teachers themselves or some external factors,the form of teachers' reading is gradually generalized,the value is also covered,and the reading activities are increasingly replaced or even forgotten.In addition,teachers' reading has attracted the attention of scholars and needs further exploration.The research ideas of this paper are as follows:The first part is the introduction,which takes "teacher reading" as the starting point,describes the origin and significance of this paper,and through the collection and analysis of the same type of research results at home and abroad,defines the definition of teacher reading,combs the research ideas,and determines the research methods.The second part discusses the value and ought to be state of teachers' reading,including the general value,professional value and social value of teachers' reading.The ought to be state of teachers' reading is mainly discussed from two aspects: what to read and how to read,aiming to return to the essential requirements and needs of teachers' reading.The third part is the results of this study and the analysis of the reasons.The research object is the primary school teachers in Qingzhou City,Shandong Province,the data were obtained by questionnaire survey,and the interview method was used as a supplement to the questionnaire method.The first is to issue a questionnaire.This questionnaire is aimed at the primary schoolteachers in Qingzhou City.However,because there are many schools in Qingzhou City,some representative schools are selected to issue the questionnaire,such as the Qingzhou Normal University Affiliated Primary School,Qingzhou Qicheng Primary School,Qingzhou Yidu Xiazhuang primary School,Qingzhou Wangfen Primary School,etc.These schools cover the municipal schools,the urban schools and the rural schools(including plain schools and mountain schools).SPSS23.0 was used to test the reliability and validity of the questionnaire and to make statistical analysis of the data.The study found that the overall situation of primary school teachers' reading was at a general level;the analysis of differences found that the reading habits and awareness were affected by gender differences,the application of reading was affected by the differences of teaching subjects,and the teachers' reading media was not affected by gender,teaching age,education background,and the way to obtain the final education background The difference of subjects and professional titles affects self reading.Self reading is influenced by the teaching age,the way to obtain the final academic degree,the difference of subjects and professional titles.The influencing factors include complicated affairs,not strong reading atmosphere,and the impact of modern multi-media.Self inertia leads to the lack of reading enthusiasm and poor reading habits lead to poor reading effect of teachers and so on.The results of interview and questionnaire are basically consistent.The fourth part is the optimization path of this study.In order to improve the current situation of primary school teachers' reading,we should start from the two perspectives of teachers and schools.Teachers should enhance their own reading and improve their professional level.Schools should adopt various ways to ensure teachers' reading.
