Research On The Application Of Old Photos In The Teaching Of Modern Chinese History In Senior High Schools

The old photo is a freeze on the historical picture that happened in the past.It has intuitive and real characteristics.The use of old photos in history teaching can add vitality to the history classroom.There are a lot of typical and clear old photo materials about the "the Revolution of 1911 " and "the War of Resistance Against Japan".Relatively speaking,it can be used here.Older photos are used in both classes.The author will focus on these two lessons to explore how to use old photographs in the teaching of modern Chinese history in high school.First of all,the author collects and reads books and papers about old photos,and divides old photos into character and physical categories,summarizing the characteristics of old photos: intuitive,real,and instantaneous.Secondly,through the "the Revolution of 1911" and "the War of Resistance Against Japan" two classes specifically show how to use old photos in the teaching of modern Chinese modern history.Thirdly,in order to understand the situation of teachers and students using old photos in the modern history of high school in China,questionnaires and interviews were conducted among the students and teachers of the internship schools,mainly from students and teachers on “old photos” and “old photos in teaching”.The use of the situation "the role of old photos in teaching" "the use of old photos in specific cases" "the recommendations of the use of old photos in teaching" five aspects of the questionnaire and interview content to organize and analyze.Finally,through questionnaires and interview results,the shortcomings of the use of old photos in high school history classes are summarized,and the suggestions made by teachers and students are summarized.Through this research,the author proposes the following suggestions about the use of old photos in the teaching of modern Chinese history in high school: teachers should correctly choose old photos,choose real old photos,pay attention to the clarity of old photos,and clearly the shooting time of old photos,select representative old photos,the selected old photos should be consistent with the objectives of the course.Teachers should properly display old photos,pay attention to the accuracy of the oldphotos attached to the text,and display the old photos not too much.When observing old photos,the teacher should guide the students to observe carefully and pay attention to the details of the old photos.Teachers should comprehensively interpret old photographs,tell the story behind the old photos,and talk about the background of the old photographs.The proper and reasonable use of old photographs in history classrooms contributes to the development of history teaching.
