In the Outline of National Medium and Long Term Education Reform and Development Plan(2010-2020)and Several Opinions on the Current Development of Preschool Education,it has become a key issue in the development of preschool education to improve the professional competence of preschool teachers,improve the training management system of preschool teachers,optimize the teaching staff of preschool teachers and train excellent Preschool teachers.It has become an objective existence for men to engage in kindergarten teachers' profession.Therefore,the cultivation of excellent male kindergarten teachers has a certain role in promoting the development of early childhood education.Based on this,this study takes a male kindergarten teacher with 10-year-old teaching age,named Teacher Aye,as the research object.By means of observation,interview and data analysis,this study conducts a comprehensive case study of Teacher Aye 's competence in three dimensions: professional knowledge,professional competence and professional values,and then analyses the important factors affecting the development of Teacher Aye's professional competence.Finally,the author puts forward some helpful suggestions on improving the professional competence of Teacher Aye and other kindergarten male teachers.This study found that: Teacher Aye's professional knowledge and professional competence dimensions of competency are well developed,but their professional values dimension of competency development is not optimistic.The author then makes an analysis and finds that the subjective factors affecting the development of Aye's professional competence are: professional interest,professional spirit,professional accomplishment,professional ability and professional attitude.Among them,professional interest is the internal driving force to promote the development of Aye's professional competence,diligent professionalism is the main channel to promote the development of Aye's professional competence,the conscientious professional quality is the basis for the development of Aye's professional competence,the professional abilities of learning and observation are the strong guarantee for the improvement of Aye's professional competence,and optimistic and plain professional attitudes are the source of teacher Aye's personal influence.At the same time,the objective factors affecting the development of Aye's professional competence are: educational experience,leadership,parents' trust,wife's support and salary.College education is the main way to form Aye teacher's preservice professional competence.The reuse of kindergarten leaders has built a ladder for the development of Aye teacher's professional competence.The trust from parents of young children is the external support to promote Aye teacher's professional competence development.Wife's support provides a strong backup for the development of Aye teacher's professional competence.But the lower salary is the main obstacle to the development of teacher's professional competence.Finally,according to the important factors affecting the development of Aye's professional competence,the author puts forward some suggestions from both subjective and objective aspects to improve Aye's professional competence.Subjectively,he should diversify the learning channels of general knowledge,do a good job in the phased planning of "fame" and "home",and establish the educational belief of dedication.Objectively,kindergartens need to provide a platform for the professional development of male teachers,and colleges should strengthen the training of male pre-school students.It is hoped that this study will be helpful to the further improvement of Aye's professional competence,and at the same time,it will also provide reference for other kindergarten male teachers to improve their professional competence.
