With the development of society,preschool education has been paid more and more attention,and one of the important factors determining the quality of education is kindergarten teachers.In teachers’ echelon,are almost all women,now the number of male group rising in recent years gradually,research on male teachers also more and more,but more to the influence factors of male teachers in early childhood development,and the social from all walks of life perception of kindergarten male teachers,less focus on male teachers’ professional development.Based on this problem,this study starts from the key events and adopts the method of case study to select a senior and famous male kindergarten teacher with about 30 years of working experience as the research object,aiming to dig out the key events in his professional development and hope to provide reference for other male teachers.This study focuses on three research questions: First,what are the key events in the professional development of the male teacher in the case? And the types of manifestations? Second,what influence did the key events have on the professional development and growth of the case male teacher? Third,how to better promote the professional development of male kindergarten teachers based on key events? The research method of this study is mainly interview method and observation method,and combined with literature research,combing and analysis of case male teachers in professional development of early,middle and later period the key events and their different effects,and the key event classified according to the performance characteristics,mainly divides into the result events,moving type,inspired and hybrid events these four classes.Then through sorting out the key events of male teachers in the case and the one-to-one interviews of other male teachers,this paper explores the influence of individual factors,school-level factors and other factors on the professional development of male teachers.At last,this study analyzed and excavated the influence of key events on the professional development of male teachers in the case,extracted the experience,and offered some suggestions for the professional development of male teachers.From three dimensions,starting from the individual teachers,we hope to choose the right kindergarten,improve the drive and establish and play the characteristics;From the perspective of the school,we hope to establish a training system and create a good atmosphere.From the perspective of society and policies,it is hoped that relevant policies can be improved and teachers’ benefits and benefits can be improved,so as to better the professional development of male kindergarten teachers.
