Distribution equity has always been a hot issue of social concern.In recent years,China has been committed to solving the problem of inequitable income distribution among members of society.At present,the group of university teachers is also plagued by the problem of income inequality.Compared with the staff in knowledge-intensive industries such as finance and IT,the overall salary level of university teachers is low.Compared with the input of University teachers' work,the salary level of university teachers can not match it.At the same time,as a traditional helping industry,university teachers are vulnerable to job burnout.Some studies show that the mismatch between individual and work in terms of salary and equity is one of the causes of job burnout.Based on this situation,this paper combines the background of the reform of the salary system in Colleges and universities,combs the past literature,takes the group of university teachers in Shanghai as the research object,and uses the methods of questionnaire survey to study the impact of salary equity on job burnout.This study mainly includes the following parts: The first part of the article elaborates the research background,leads to the purpose and significance of this study,at the same time clarifies the research content,research ideas and research methods,and puts forward the innovation and limitations of the study.The second part of the article is mainly to sort out and summarize the research results related to the theme ofthis paper,laying a theoretical foundation for the empirical part of the research model and research hypothesis,and further clarify the theme of this study on this basis.In the third part,the author designs the conceptual design of empirical research,puts forward research hypothesis and constructs research model on the basis of literature review,and designs questionnaires combined with research purposes and characteristics of University teachers.In the fourth part,empirical research and analysis are carried out to verify the research hypothesis.The last part of the article summarizes the research conclusions and puts forward corresponding suggestions.Through empirical analysis,this paper draws the following conclusions:(1)The salary fairness of university teachers in Shanghai is low,and their job burnout is serious.(2)Demographic variables have significant differences in some dimensions of pay equity and job burnout.(3)The sense of pay equity has a negative impact on job burnout.Improving the sense of pay equity of college teachers can help alleviate their job burnout.Finally,according to the results of empirical research,from the perspective of improving the salary system in Colleges and universities,this paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the fairness of salary and alleviate the job burnout of College teachers,mainly including improving the overall salary level of College teachers,establishing a dynamic salary adjustment mechanism,optimizing the salary structure of College teachers,improving the evaluation mechanism of College teachers,and broadening the participation of teachers in salary decision-making.Ways and so on.
